What SofterLoop’s own code sends
The tools do not contain code that posts thoughts, predictions, worries, drawings, selected images, recordings, or exercise answers to a SofterLoop server. There is no account system, content database, advertising network, or analytics script in this project.
What is stored in this browser
Prediction check and Not now store entries in localStorage so they remain available in this browser on this device. Local storage is not encrypted by SofterLoop. Someone with access to your unlocked device or browser profile may be able to inspect it. Use each tool’s delete controls or clear this site’s browser data to remove it.
What-if path, Thought unhook, Voice lab, Next small step, Name what is here, A fairer voice, and Ride the urge do not automatically save what you enter. Image distance lab keeps its canvas in the current page session and only creates a file when you choose Download.
Images
An image selected in Image distance lab is opened with the browser’s local file-reading API and drawn to a canvas. SofterLoop’s code does not upload it. Closing or reloading the page clears the unsaved canvas.
Microphone recordings and voices
Voice lab requests microphone access only after you press the recording button. The recording is held in page memory, decoded with local browser audio APIs, and processed with on-device filters. SofterLoop’s code does not upload it, write it to local storage, or download it automatically. Closing or reloading the page clears the recording.
Device text-to-speech voices are provided by the browser and operating system. A voice marked as non-local may use a service controlled by the device or browser vendor. The bundled synthetic engine loads its JavaScript, worker, and voice data from SofterLoop’s own origin after you select that source; synthesis then runs in the browser. For the strictest local workflow, use your own recording or the bundled local synthetic engine.
Ordinary hosting logs
The static hosting provider may record ordinary access information such as IP address, requested page, time, and user agent. Exercise content is not included in normal page requests because the tools do not send it. Exact retention and legal terms depend on the hosting provider used for deployment.
External links
Research and crisis-directory links do not open until you activate them. They then take you to another site, whose privacy rules apply after you leave SofterLoop.
How to verify the claim
Open browser developer tools, select the Network panel, and use each tool. You should see no SofterLoop request containing exercise content. To test bundled local features, let the page and its files finish loading, disconnect the internet, and repeat the exercise without reloading the page.
